AAR-Recon II Armoured Amphibious Recon Vehicle
The all welded steel hull provides the crew with protection from small arms fire and shell splinters. The hull and frontal area are specially reinforced to protect engine and crew. The AAR-Recon is fully amphibious, being propelled in the water by steerable propellers are the rear of the hull. Before entering the water, a trim vane is automatically erected at the front of the hull, and bilge pumps switched on. An oxygen/air circulitory and purge system enables all hatches to be sealed airtight for up to 3 hours.
