Greetings from WAMBO
Greetings from Mayor Hope
As Mayor of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, on behalf of Council and the Citizens of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, I am pleased to welcome you to the 23rd Annual Wallaceburg Antique Motor and Boat Outing, being held August 12, 13, and 14, 2011.
WAMBO is one of Canada’s largest transportation shows, displaying an outstanding collection of antique boats, fire trucks, cars, motorcycles and tractors. The fun begins at 5pm on Friday, featuring opening ceremonies, Knights of Columbus BBQ Chicken Dinner, Terry Glover Memorial Car Cruise and the entertainment tent featuring "Pauly and the Greaseballs".
Activities continue on Saturday with antique displays, autos, aircraft, boats, fire trucks, motorcycles and toys, Art-in-the Park, crafts, entertainment, karaoke vendors and parades. The Southside is being expanded this year with a growing Children's area featuring many activities geared to the youngsters. An interdenominational church service will take place downtown on Sunday, followed by the return of the popular Lawn Tractor Races during the afternoon.
Special thanks are extended to the dedicated members of the organizing committee who have generously contributed their time and efforts to make this annual event a success, year after year.
Come join in the festivities! Whether you are an antique car or boat enthusiast, a first-time casual observer or returning to Wallaceburg to meet up with old friends—there is something for everyone to enjoy at WAMBO!
Sincerely,

Randy R. Hope, Mayor / CEO
