Let me tell you about our club. We are a non-profit organization. We have proudly been around for over 20 years and have qualified coaching staff to instruct your children. We are registered with Gymnastics Ontario badge levels are Can Gym.

Our goal is to make this a positive experience for your children.

We have 2 sessions, one being in the fall (September), and the other being in winter (January). Each session is 10 weeks in length, and you can sign up for 1 or both nights, the decision is up to you. Gymnastics are currently held on Monday and Wednesday nights.

We welcome both boys and girls to our recreational program. Ages 4 (before the end of the session) and up.

Overview of Operations

The Wallaceburg Flying Ws Gymnastics Club has been a registered non-profit organization in Ontario since 1991 and has continued to play an active role in the Chatham-Kent community. We allow for a positive learning and skill developing recreational sport to the Chatham-Kent youth. We operate with the help of our Executive Team made up of parents and volunteers involved with the organization. Dates and Reminders

Registration Dates - typically first week of Sept., Jan., and April. Advertised in local paper and radio stations (unless awaiting WDSS confirmation)

Recreational - 6 years of age and up. Cost is $120 for 1 night a week. $240 for 2 nights. (This includes Gymnastics Ontario Membership fees for each participant) We offer 1 or 2 nights being Monday and/or Wednesday this session. 10 week sessions at WDSS gymnasium, Lorne Street entrance from 6:30pm- 8:30pm. Awarded with CANGYM badges. Note: We have begun to award booklets for the badges and if the gymnast has received one, they are to return it with their registration for marking and awarding purposes. A small fee will be issued if this booklet isn't returned.

Kindergym - Ages 4-6 years (must be 4yrs by the end of the session). Only 1 hour instead of 2 per night (6:30-7:30pm on the same nights as CANGYM listed above) and cost is $60. Rewarded with Certificates rather than CANGYM badges.

Financial Assistance - We offer a 10% discount per additional child within a family. All For Kids funding through the Government. Let us know if you want more information on this.

Attire - Body suits are to be worn. (Boys - semi-form fitting shirt and shorts) No shoes or socks. Hair is to be pulled back and all jewellery is to be removed. We NOW sell bodysuits at a cost of $25.
