Sermon Outlines

Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; ... 1Peter 4:11

God has inspired me with and given me the opportunity to preach as a lay person.

Below is a brief outline of some of the sermans I have preached.

Faith

“Faith is what clothes our God-given, Bible-based hopes with natural substance. It’s what makes them become a reality in this material world.”

Committed to God

Isn’t it awesome that the God of all creation is searching for those who are willing to yield themselves fully to Him that He might show Himself strong

Courage in the midst of trouble

It is easy to have courage sitting here amongst brothers and sisters in Christ, but how about in the workplace, on the street or anywhere out of your safe surroundings.

Take up your cross

We may not be called to walk from everything as they did, but in similarity we are called to walk after Jesus, denying self and our old ways, putting on the new self and walking in the newness of life in Christ

The goliath in your life

Why would Saul, a man of statue (apr. 7’), a leader of the armies of the living God be greatly afraid?

Love and unity

Above and beyond everything is the destination – Charity or LOVE in action for the Glory of GOD (not the warm mushy feeling as we use the word today – like how I feel for my wife every moment I breathe)

Heaven

This question comes to mind What is heaven?
