To the just released in 2009, A-Mac pitching horseshoe (the world's first and only ergonomic pitching horseshoe) we continue to advance the game of horseshoes one design at a time.

 

All of our horseshoes are designed with one goal in mind, to help each and every person who uses our products to pitch more ringers than they ever have before. Since the beginning of the M&M Horseshoe Company we realized there are two major factors which are required to make the World's best pitching horseshoes, a great horseshoe design and the strongest most durable materials available to produce them. Over the past 25 years we have spent an extensive amount of time and energy in researching and testing a countless variety of materials, leaving no stone unturned. Certainly having a strong background in the steel industry allows us to try materials not readily available or known to most horseshoe pitching manufacturers. We are very proud to state all of our pitching horseshoes are made from alloy steel and tempered to a hardness rating of medium soft. (we will not and do use cheaper & inferior ductile cast iron) At the M&M Horseshoe Company we are committed to supplying the best horseshoes we can to our customers. As the leader in horseshoe design inovation, knockoffs of our ideas are nothing new. For the M&M Special it took less than a year for the first ones to appear on the market and at last count six horseshoes owe there roots to our unique design, plus many more have copied other details first seen on the M&M Special. Most have come and gone ,never coming close to matching the high standards set by the M&M Special for feel and pure ability to be pitched for ringers. Now recently we seen our first knock-off of our A-Mac's industry first ergonomic design. Again it took less than a year and no we are not worried. We took the time to make sure the A-Mac just like the M&M Special is as good as it gets.

The M&M Special

The M&M Special pitching horseshoe was first seen on the horseshoe courts way back in 1986. That makes 2011 it's 25th anniversary so look for something special to celebrate such a special occasion. The M&M Special Horseshoe is the original "M" shaped horseshoe often imitated but never duplicated. The M&M Special Horseshoe is designed for maximum comfort, reliability and perfect balance. The front end of the M&M Special features large 1 inch diameter hooks for super grabbing action. The middle of the M&M Special horseshoe features a large unique shaped ringer breaker which not only helps to keep the the horseshoe around the stake when thrown for a ringer, but is designed to fit the shape of a pitchers fingers when pitched by a flip pitcher. The M&M Special Horseshoe was the first center balanced horseshoe ever made. When I designed the M&M Special I had this great marketing idea, I would make the best horseshoe of all time, pitch really well and win the world Championship and then people would all want to buy such a great horseshoe design. Well as history would prove I fell a tad short but in the year the M&M Special was released a little lady from Canada pitched the M&M Special to win the Women's World Championship and shatter all the records. Some of those records will probably never be broken. From that day on the M&M Special has been one of the top selling horseshoes and even after almost 25 years are still increasing in annual sales. That confirms what we have been told for years, People love there M&M's and will pitch nothing else. The M&M Special pitching horseshoe is made from an alloy steel and is heat treated and tempered to a hardness rating of medium soft. To date the M&M Special horseshoe was pitched to win 15 World Horseshoe Pitching titles eight using the turn and seven World Horseshoe Pitching titles using the flip. Along with the many world titles the M&M Special has also been used to set many world records. The most prominent records are complete tournament 88.2% (1 1/4 turn),World Tournament qualifying 89.7% (1 1/4 turn) , most 90% games complete tournament seven (1 1/4 turn) consecutive ringers 60 (flip) The M&M Special pitching horseshoe is one of the only horseshoes pitched for an average above 87% in the World Tournament by more than one horseshoe pitcher. The A-Mac

After just 1 year the A-Mac has become one of our top sellers.

The A-Mac pitching horseshoe, the World's first ergonomic pitching horseshoe is a combination of proven horseshoe pitching mechanics and our unique ergonomic design. The scientifically tilted blades of the A-Mac pitching horseshoe allows the horseshoe pitcher to comfortably rest their thumb on top the the blade while the fingers wrap naturally around the underside. The end result is a pitching horseshoe which distributes the weight of the horseshoe evenly over the fingers and thumb compared to conventional horseshoes which have extreme pressure points on your fingers which generally lead to inaccuracy during the delivery and blisters with prolonged usage. When it comes time to release the A-Mac pitching horseshoe it is as smooth as it gets. The special angle on the blades of the A-Mac pitching horseshoe are designed to match the trajectory required to through that perfect ringer. This also aids in giving the A-Mac pitching horseshoe the distinction of being the cleanest and smoothest releasing horseshoe ever made. The A-Mac is center balanced just like it's big brother the M&M Special. The M&M Special has won multiple World Horseshoe Pitching titles flipping and turning so there is little doubt about the A-Mac's ability to land open around the horseshoe stake time after time. The Python

From the outside looking in the Python looks just like most other rounded horseshoes. But looks are deceiving. The Python features 1" hooks for extra grabbing action along with center balance technology (first seen on the M&M Special) The blades of the Python are narrow allowing those with shorter fingers or the full hand grippers to be handle this horseshoe with ease. The blade thickness is not big and bulky like most of those ductile iron horseshoes or too thin it is what most consider the perfect thickness for a horseshoe averaging just under 7/16 inch. Like all our professional horseshoe designs the Python can be easily used as a turn shoe or as a flip shoe. Awhile ago a gentleman pitched perfect game at the national championships using his Python's and a single flip. With the recent limited availability of the tournament diamond and the material changes on the original Imperial to a thicker bulkier material the Python is likely the best replacement for both of these horseshoes. All Pythons are made of heat treated & tempered alloy steel warranted for 1 year and are probably the most durable horseshoe on the market today. It (it has been years since one of these got sent back in for warranty replacement) The Python is sanctioned for play by the NHPA the governing body for horseshoes..
