2012 LABOUR COMMUNITY AWARDS
MAY 4TH, 2012
Builder and Current Awards – nominations being sought for those who have:
- Provided leadership in volunteer services within United Way as well as serving within their rank and file
- Contributed to the voluntary system of human services
- Displayed creativity in devising new and better ways of performing volunteer assignments or in meeting community needs
- Had tangible and demonstrative impact in some form of service to their fellow citizens
- Been inspirational in their activities and qualities of performance have stimulated others to achieve greater service.
- Sustained their service over a period of years
Bill Zilio Labour “Spirit” Award – nominations being sought for those locals who have:
- Demonstrated the following forms of compassion for a better community for one and for all.
- Taken opportunity to adventure above and beyond the normal call of duty in the direction of community support
- Whether your local has collectively assisted a family in their time of need or have assisted a local community organization
- We all have special talents and skills and when we get that opportunity to help others, you help your community.
