all from the Officers and Members of the CLC.


Guest speaker Gord Wilson past President of the OFL talked about Labour's
long relationship with the United Way and the support the the Labour
Movement has for the work of the United Way and the services the United
Way provides to their communities.


Don Caryn International Rep. UAW Region # 1 one of last years sprit award winners does the
introduction of Bill Zillo to present this years sprit award winner.


Picture here left to right Don Caryn, Bill Zillo and this years winner is CAW Local # 580 excepting for the Local is Ken Howe President of the Local. The award is given to a Labour organization that does something in the community that is over and above what is in the mandate of the Union to it's members. CAW Local # 580 financial and moral support of all community services is outstanding and should be reconized for it's concern and support of the needs in their community.


Picture here is Bill Steep 1st Vice President of the Labour Council and Vice President of the United Way Board of directors and this years winner of the Current catagory of the Community Service Award Aaron Neaves. Aaron is Vice President of CAW Local # 127 and on the executive of the Labour Council. Next to Aaron is Pat Weaver President of the United Way Board of Directors. Aaron is a leader of the United Way in his workplace and in his Community.
