Day of Mourning The Chatham-Kent Labour Council Day of Mourning ceremonies were held Thursday April 28, 2011 at the park across from the Thames-Lea Shopping Plaza on Grand Ave. West, Chatham. Our Day of Mourning Service is held at the Monument for workers killed or injured at work. 
Front left is Brian Armitage, Labour Staff Representative for the Chatham-Kent United Way, and on the right is Bill Steep, President of the United Way of Chatham Kent and 1st Vice President of the Chatham-Kent Labour Council at the Day of Mourning Ceremonies
