Lavender
- Lovely Lavender
It's been around in folklore and song for centuries and in 1999
it has come into its own as the star of the show.
Lavender, of the demure grandmotherly sachets that fill linen drawers
with a sweet old fashioned scent, wasn't always associated with elderly
ladies and old lace. No indeed, the fragrant purple flowers and silvery
stalks that grace the most refined of English gardens enjoy a colourful
and mysterious past. And in 1999 it is replacing mint as the International
Herb Association's herb of the year.
The garden centre has an extensive collection of seeds and herb plants..... (100+ varieties).
Our best kept secret the Faerie Garden is under our flag pole. The shop features the Fairy Collection by Dezine and many other garden faery items.
