Sear your steaks first by
pre-heating the pan or grill at high heat, then reduce heat to medium to
finish cooking.
If you like your meat rare,
we suggest you cook Emu for 3 minutes per side per 2.5cm (1 inch) of thickness.
If medium rare is more to your liking, then 4 minutes per side will produce
the desired results.
Over cooking these cuts to
well done will rob them of their tender, delicate flavour. Whether you
grill, barbecue or panfry these cuts, they each offer the taste of steak
that you love!
2. Choice Cuts
These are great marinated,
then grilled or barbecued. Why not try stews, chili, casseroles or soup
at a lower, longer temperature - your family will ask for more!
