HEALING TOUCH - is an energy based therapeutic approach to healing. H.T. uses touch to influence the energy system thus affecting physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and healing.

THERAPEUTIC TOUCH - This healing intervention is administered with the intent of enabling people to repattern their energy in the direction of health. It is to promote relaxation and reduce anxiety, stress management, pain control, asthma, sleep disorders, chronic care and other illnesses.

JIN SHIN JYUTSU (accupressure) - is an art which profoundly supports the healing process of the body, mind and spirit and is a valuable compliment to consientious healing methods. It is the art of releasing tensions which are the causes for various symptoms in the body. The "flows" used are to enhance healing for all ailments which affect the body.

REIKI - is a hands on healing modality to direct the natural energy of the body to facilitate healing.

We practice all the above modalities to enhance our client's health. These modalities have been used for chronic care, stress management, emotional release, grief and other illnesses.

Reiki and Jin Shin Jyutsu are two forms of healing modalities. Elizabeth & Shirley are Reiki Masters. These modalities work with the mind, body and spirit. When a client visits our clinic we incorporate all three methods of healing touch in their treatment. Shirley and Elizabeth will often work together on a client.

We invite the clients to participate in the programming of their healing, and to work with us as a unit toward a common goal of wellness on every level. We offer healing excercises to our clients and encourage them to be used on a daily basis in the comfort of their own home.

We believe in gentleness and gentle healing. The body facilitates its own healing. All the techniques we use open and direct the energy throughout the body. We also use specific techniques for specific ailments such as arthritis, migraines, stress and back discomforts. The techniques have relieved a lot of pain, stress, anxiety attacks and grief issues. Even with the terminally ill, this helps with stress and limitation of pain.

According to the Therapeutic Touch Network of Ontario, therapeutic touch is now practiced by thousands of health care professionals. Colleges and universities teach it in their graduate and undergraduate nursing programs. Therapeutic touch is also used by hospice volunteers, AIDS caregivers, veterinarians, addiction workers, nidwives and occupational health nurses.

PSYCHIC COUNCELLING - is offered by Elizabeth and appointments are offered for both day and evening sessions.

MEDITATION and SPIRITUAL THOUGHT workshops are made available to our clients on an ongoing basis.
